Driving in Argentina and Chile

Here's a few pictures taken while driving in Argentina and Chile. Our rental car looked decent and it only had 32,000km on it but it turned out to be a big pos. Once you got above 100km/hr (~62mph) it started to shake and the wind noise was incredible. The running joke before our trip even started came from my e-mails with the rental company. They said, "you flip it over 9,000 pesos". We thought that was pretty funny, I mean really how often do cars flip over?? Well on our way back from the Torres del Paine area we stopped to get gas, at the station we saw a rental pick up that had been flipped over. I said to Nick, hey look he flipped it over, 9,000!

Are you sure this is made for cars?

One of our bald tires that somehow took us over 1,200km and over some nasty gravel/dirt roads without a flat!

Patagonia was incredibly windy, 20-60mph winds were the norm.
