Here's a couple interesting pics from the trail. The first picture shows the steep decline after going over the pass, the trail continued down like this for about a mile. Where there wasn't a railing there was rope to hang on to. At two spots along the trail there was a ladder you had to use, it was actually pretty dangerous when you consider the hikers that have to use these are usually hauling heavy packs, they also have to contend with the Patagonia winds and the frequent rain makes them slick. On the plus side these ladders are fairly new, just a few years back the ladders were made of wood and rope.
